Woman with the Golden Tears Necklace

The striking handmade polymer clay and resin focal of this necklace is reminiscent of a Klimt painting with the shimmering gold accents and tears on the woman's face. This is truly a one-of-a-kind necklace as it is bead embroidered by sewing the glass, carnelian, garnet and crystal beads on one at a time around the center focal. Then the pendant is backed with a soft cork fabric that has shining gold accents that mirror the front. A soft silky gold tassel that has a beaded cap hangs from the bottom. The necklace is strung with carnelian and garnet beads and tiny glass gold beads that won't lose their shine and finished with a gold plated lobster claw clasp. The pendant including the tassel is 5 1/4" by 1 3/4 " and the beaded necklace is 17" with a 2" extender chain.
